Problem
About two lakh people are trafficked in India every year. India is the hub of human trafficking and a point of transit, destination and source of human trafficking victims, who are sent to Nepal, Bangladesh, and into a bigger trafficking circuit. The response must not only come from Indian and international governments, but also from within Indian communities, which can be strengthened to fight back the lure of easy money from child trafficking.

Solution
By educating children and families about their rights and the dangers of human trafficking, children will be less likely to be manipulated or forced into the industry. Children will also be more likely to stay in school, enabling them to eventually get a good job that provides a fair wage.
We work to combat human trafficking through prevention education, various engagement initiatives, and creating job opportunities for survivors and those at risk. You can donate, get involved in an event or volunteer.
Indira Gandhi Education Centre is providing all resources to complete their education and help them to provide job based on skills.
